Dr. Janice Andrews (DVM, PhD, DACVP)
Dr. Andrews received her DVM from University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine in 1987. Following graduation, Jan worked in a small animal practice in New Jersey for 3 years before pursuing a combined residency in clinical pathology and PhD in molecular virology at The Ohio State University. Jan joined the faculty at North Carolina State University in 1996, and continues there as an adjunct associate professor, actively participating in residency training and mentoring junior colleagues. After 5 years at NCSU and 3 years as CMO/COO of Veterinary Laboratory Services, Jan has spent the last 21 years as a clinical pathologist for Antech Diagnostics. In addition to her diagnostic responsibilities, Jan also serves as Department Head of Quality Assurance and Chief of Clinical Pathology at Antech.
