RCVS Recognised Specialist in Veterinary Pathology (Clinical Pathology)
Paola qualified from the University of Bologna in 2002. Having obtained a Masters degree in 2004 she moved to the UK to work in small animal practice. She subsequently became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Pathologists and a Fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists. In 2015 she achieved the RCVS Specialist status.
Paola spent 9 years working as a Senior Clinical Pathologist at an internationally renowned specialist veterinary hospital in UK and she is now in Switzerland working as the director and clinical pathologist at VCO lab GmbH.
She is an examiner of the Royal College of Pathologist (RCPath) for veterinary clinical pathology and author of several publications on peer-reviewed journals. She is editor of a cytology book and coauthor of different book chapters on cytology and quality assurance.
